Danielle Ferguson, PT, DPT, OCS, OMT: Danielle has received her doctorate of physical therapy from Sage Graduate School in New York in 2012. She has attended the Institute of Manual Therapy and completed the 2 year fellowship in orthopedic manual therapy at Orthopedics Plus and Winchester Hospital which has helped her become more skilled in treating spine dysfunctions and complex orthopedic conditions. In 2017, she became a board certified orthopedic specialist. In addition to her orthopedic education she is also versed in pelvic health conditions with her post graduate work at the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Health Institute. She has attended several courses on urogynecological dysfunctions, colorectal conditions, and care of transhealth patient. Danielle is a senior physical therapist at Boston Medical Center and has been working there for 5 years. Her interest in in pelvic health led her to develop the pelvic health program at BMC 2 years ago and she has had the pleasure of working closely with the transhealth medicine, urogynecology, and gynecology teams at BMC. Most recently, in July 2018, BMC’s physical therapy department hosted a course specifically designed for physical therapists and how they care for transhealth patients including those post gender affirmation surgery. In her spare time, Danielle, enjoys practicing martial arts and kickboxing.
